Racial justice and community well-being requires us to understand the unconscious and unintentional ways that racism can often present itself, and to challenge these ways in our own learning journeys. It also means our team takes care of each other, our clients, and project participants to uphold safety.

Anti-oppressive practices shift power to those whose power is not recognized or given space to flourish. Our diverse team members play to their strengths in creating an environment where everyone feels safer to voice their views and share their knowledge. Our approach includes: understanding diverse perspectives, examining privilege, amplifying voices, tackling barriers, actively supporting diversity and inclusion, ensuring everyone is valued, accepting feedback, and continuously learning.
